its makes sense for teh fight to happen in teh uk now as they havent got an arena to host the fight in the states

its a sell out in the uk

    very strange decision by showtime

It is quite strange. Maybe they want to make Froch a star in the US??

It would sell out anywhere in UK and im sure Glenn wouldnt mind at all coming over.

    Logical option....England

Showtime said from the start that the 2 semis and the final would be in America.

Apparantly Carl Froch has got a thing for Shakin Stevens.

I think the fight should be in England too, if they put this on in the states and the arena is half full it's showtime who will look dumb

They allow Ward to fight "all" his fights in his hometown with his personal referee and judges. Why is that?

Not sure how that would work with Cleverly headlining on the same date.

That's presuming sky want to show Froch.

why is it a strange decision from showtime??? it doesn't affect them if the fight sells 2000 or 20,000 tickets.

Yeah but it's not a good look for their big tournament if the semis are fought in a half empty arena.

Rafael tweeted yesterday that it might not go ahead on May 21st, could be set for June 11th instead.

Showtime have spent £5,000,000 on Frochs last 3 fights none of them primetime in the US. Its time they got there payoff.

Surely the final would be held in Las Vegas or another neutral venue

because they need him to the next big star, in fact Showtime are desperate for an American star.

they have no big name stars.
