    Hell I think Martinez might be too much for Pac meaning he wouldn't consider it but if he's sizing him up then I might just change my mind. But Roach/Arum might have something else to say...

    Martinez has the power and the foot movement to create problems but I don't think he can match Pacquiao in flurry power and all round activity and that's basically what counts... Margarito was bigger, much bigger, 17 pounds heavier and he hurt Pac with body shots but he was on the receiving end all night long. Martinez can match Pacquiao's movement but he has to throw fast and powerful from too far back. Pacquiao will be unleashing punches at will on Sergio all the same, doesn't matter if Sergio is skilled and fast.

    Nope just stating what he said. At first he said he will only drain himself to 156. Then he said for Mayweather or Pacquiao he would go as low as 154. So you are right.

    martinez isn't a small middleweight. he came in @170 in his last fight and that is 10 lbs. above the middleweight limit.

    contrast to this, pac comes in during fights @148-149 or just 1-2 lbs. over the welterweight limit. that makes pac a very small welter.

    if they fight @154, martinez will still certainly outsize pac by 20 lbs. that size difference is already too much to overcome.
