    Who would have thought a couple of months ago that we would have Groves - Degale and Haye -Wlad to look forward to.I just hope there are no pullouts and it should be a great few weeks for boxing :bbb

    100% they would be. Brook is actually well thought of in the US. Have heard Steve Kim and Dan Rafael mention him a few times. Undefeated to they love that **** the yanks and he has a US style.

    Well when they put purse bids in its ony a percentage that gets paid,it coukd have been easy as warren gives hayemaker the purse bid,as in buying it from them. Thats my.understanding but im.sure some board oracke will correct me

    Warren & Hayemaker will have agreed a deal. Usually when a promoter wins purse bids they retain complete control of a fight thats means location, purse, judges, gloves etc.

    Groves was guarenteed £160,000 from the purse bid, its likley he is getting more than that now and Hayemaker will retain some control of who the officials are, what gloves he can wear and so on.

    On the fight itself, dont get me wrong the build up and the fight itself will be awesome but am I the only one that thinks its getting made a tad too early??

    My mate and I decided we'd go down from Edinburgh for this and make a weekend of it. 3rd boxing show after Haye/ Harrison and Burns/ Evenson, hopefully this blows them outta the water. It'll be my 2nd time seeing Groves, I'll be supporting this opponent once again, nearly lost my voice screaming for Kenny Anderson last time.
