Seems like there are some butthurt Pavlik and Dzinziruk fans who are claiming that Martinez should be fighting at 168?

He's only 5'10 and has been fighting at welterweight and junior welterweight most of his career? When did this idiotic notion that he is somehow too big for guys like Cotto come from?

He's smaller then Antonio Margarito. :patsch

Yep. He's not far removed from Light Middle at all...and could probably still make it at a push (if he wants the "very big bouts").

It could be coming from intimidated PacWeather fans too. This is what Maravilla gets from them for calling out the "wrong" boxers.

No one said anything like this about Sergio's being the notably smaller man when he took on Pavlik. For consistency's sake, Sergio took the MW title from a guy who was "supposed" to beat him on size.

He's not a big middleweight. He can make 154 and only left because fighters were avoiding him there.

He's put on some muscles the last few years. Because of that he may have a hard time making 154. His frame is too small for supermiddle though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Martinez at 168 if he wants to face Bute or Ward.
I'd prefer to see him compete at 154, although I don't see that happening. May as well face Sturm.

When he started beating everyone. Haters need something to hold on to. He's not a big middleweight. Fought most of his career at 154lbs and was average size there...
