I think you're being too harsh on him. There are just a few days until Bute's match. For months there have been like thousands of other threads about other fighters. Now it's Bute's time. ...And maybe 1 week after the fight. After that the forum will get back to "normal" . You'll use the search function a lot just to see other names other than Ward, Froch, Glen and Abraham.

In my opinion Lucian's hand speed is on par with a peak Jermain Taylor. He's fast, but not HOLY **** LIGHTNING FAAASSST.

 

Good, now lets hope he fights someone worth mentioning.

 

He reminds me a little bit of Joe calzaghe when he throws his clusters and his foot work is similar.

He is about average in the speed department for the weight class. Obviously quicker than Froch, but not on the level of Ward and no where near Dirrell or Sugar Joe.
