Breland showed Ozaki's level a little while later, if I remember correctly. And while I am ranting: Duran/Stackhouse was no better on the undercard. To think a year later, that same Duran produced that final miracle. I really do think sometimes Roberto had some identical twin brother, fight on his behalf. Only with half of Hands of Stone's ability, and none of the fire...

don't know if i think 'doing just enough for the win' is 'lazy' but... hopkins. he always tries to win 7/12 rounds, and that's why he's involved in so many fights that end with contentious decisions. how often do you hear him say "i won the rounds that i needed to"?
I don't consider "fighting just hard enough to beat an opponent" to be lazy, just scientific and smart. It might be essential to promoting a longer career and not burning out.
Jose Luis Lopez pulled out a couple highlight kos(Yori Boy,Loughran), but he also lost some fights(Page) or Drew(Quartey) in fights that he could have pulled out.... Very lazy in training camp and for the most part a wasted talent. Great Chin,Great Power and underrated skills(just lazy).
