    He claims his knee is 100% but with the long layoff and surgery, it worries me because of his past history with layoffs.

    OK thats just Shogun being a warrior, hes wounded, we know that. His knees are shot. But imagine what kind of power he would unleash if his knees are at 75%, he would have the strongest kick...oh wait.

    Ahhh. Stoo, what's ur prediction? I see Jones taking an early lead with flashy strikes for a round or two but unable to get a take down. In the clinch I see Rua working knees to Jones legs and leg kicks throughout. Ultimately taking control around the 3rd and scoring a TKO due to straight right followed by GnP.

    I think Shogun is going to tap during the stare down Jones is that good he did beat the legendary Hammil and Bader in a take down contest. I dont think a seasoned MMA fighter like Shogun has a hope in hell (sarcasm works both ways)

    Well as you said it wont be one sided in the clinch. I think Jones is obviously more than capable of taking Rua down from there. But he's gonna have to eat a few knees in the process.

    And if he tries to stand with Shogun...well he managed to knock out the elusive Machida with a gimpy knee right

    I wonder which will be physically stronger? I know Rua is a ****in mule but I can't decide.

    I saw this post on Jon Jones Facebook page and I kinda agree..

    "Ima lay it straight for you. Shogun has arguably the best Muay Thai in the game, its brutal. He is fully capable of demolishing your moral in a fist fight, on the ground he's a black belt in Brazilian Jujitsu and a product of the Chute Box academy so on the ground he's deadly. He can knock anyone out with either hand while backpedaling, true power. He can take a punch and is about as fluid and technical of a striker as can be. You have a little over a month to prepare for all this. Can you do it? Yea. Will you? I just don't think a month is enough time. You are a great fighter but these are the facts."
