If Pac was using PEDS, he wouldn't have any problems making 154.

But he can't even reach 150.

    Are

Are you stupid or something??? He beat williams, actually beat cintron, went up in weight and made pavlik look stupid after everyone said he was going to lose, gives a great performance this weekend and he has not earned the right to fight pacquiao or mayweather?? If mayweather can move up to 154 to fight oscar then he can fight sergio at 154 unless he is a chicken ****, which we all the the answer to that. If pacquiao can claim a title at 154 then he can arrange a weight to fight martinez.

Martinez derserves the big shot. He fights and he fights quality opponents and gets the job done. Not a big fan but respect this fighter to the fullest.

I don't buy Pac not knowing who Martinez is. Pac went up to 154 to collect a belt and to claim an 8th title. Are we expected to believe that he and his crew haven't contemplated a 9th title and potential opponents? And surely they would've studied footage of the Margarito/Martinez fight amongst others when preparing Pac for Margarito.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pac fights Sergio at a 155 catch-weight for the middleweight title. If Pac thinks that Sergio is just big and not skilled then it ain't much different to the Marg fight and no-one here should be making excuses for why the fight shouldn't happen.

Ok I'll agree if the Donaire ever goes up to Middleweight. Then Ward should get credit. Now drop it, I'm tired of wasting my breath on your pointless argument.

I'd like to see what ever boxing dictionary your reading. Or did you read it off Wikipedia

I don't know what the hell your talking about here. What about Welterweight?
Pacquiao started at Featherweight and beat the best fighters there. Barrera, Morales, Marquez(quick note he was already number 2 in Pound 4 Pound rankings after these three victories and these guys are the same size as him).
Then he went to Lightweight and beat a Champion in David Diaz.
Then he went to Light Welterweight and beat the champion Ricky Hatton.
And then beat Miguel Cotto who was one of the champions at Welterweight.

Thats why he's Pound 4 Pound. He beat the best fighters(champions).

Your an idiot. The term "Pound 4 Pound" came from a quote from sports writers in order for them to name who was the best fighter in boxing regardless of weight. Based on the opponents they've beaten, and their overall record.

Every Combat Sport uses the term today to name who they're best fighter is. The UFC also has a "Pound 4 Pound" ranking.

I thought the weight-gain was the premise to all these PED-accusations? Wasn't it that Pac was fighting in SFW and in a few years was busting up WWs?

Surely nobody would be able to gain all that weight without the help of PEDs, right?

Pacquiao's fightnight weight has not risen dramatically over the last few years.
He weighed 145 lbs fightnight vs Marquez when they fought at 130 lbs.......

Pacquiao now normally climbs the ring at about 148-150 lbs.

.......though some of these unofficial weights are just that, "unofficial"......many times the fighter being weighed at fightime weighs in fully clothed, which adds a few pounds to his unofficial weight.

In any case, if you look at it from the beggining of Pacquiao's career, his weight increase has been unprecedented.
......and I'd say he's gained 20 lbs since his first title try vs MAB, which is a huge weight gain for a fighter coming from featherweight.

I call him a PED user because I believe he's just that......and what those PED's are doing to enhance Pacquiao's performance is giving him staying power and stamina vs the likes of Cotto and Margarito he otherwise would not have vs fighters of that caliber who outweigh him significantly by fight time.

Historically fighters like Pacquiao who jump up that many weight classes can perform well in the early rounds but then because they are punching at and are being punched by much heavier fighters, they fatigue faster than they did before the weight jump and become sitting ducks when the championship rounds arrive.

.....with the roid using Pacquiao, its been the opposite.
The bigger fighter cant keep up with the pace, and they are becoming sitting ducks by the time the late rounds arrive.

PED's are not just to bulk up and add mass, they can also work to give you a better and longer energy boost so that you can sustain that boost through either a short explosive burst during a fight, or give you sustained long endurance during a fight, depending what you train for.

If you train for speed, that speed can be sustained for a longer period during a fight.......

Historically fighters moving up that many weigh classes, even though they train for it, cannot sustain and make their bodies physically perform the way they want it to perform.
.....that is until Manny Pacroid came along.
