    I'd still favour degale at this stage. Simply because the first time George was stepped up he nearly came a cropper and I don't care what anyone says he got away with it. After the knock down one more flush shot would have had him out of there. Degale by contrast blew smith away.
    I think all the people saying wait until they're champions are crazy tbh. Do it now. Could be the start of something beautiful

    I think Anderson was more dangerous to Groves than Smith was to Degale. If that makes sense?

    I know what you mean. I think JDG would've dealt with Anderson more handily but I also think Gentleman George would have blown Smith away in a similar fashion.

    I'm not sure gentleman George would have blown smith away. His style would be more conducive for smith to have success. Hands down chin out not great lateral movement, I think smith would have had some success on the ropes. Not sure what the result would have been, but think it would have gone to points. Smith certainly would have had more stamina and defo has better punch resistance chin and body wise than Anderson.
    The good thing here though is that gentleman and jdg are both genuine super middles.

    so this is why it's so important for groves to stay cool and aloof both pre fight and in the ring?

    I hope Gentleman George comes to the ring wearing a top hat and monocle.

    If he let's his heart rule his head, he's in trouble. Degale knows what he wants to do, and when in fight mode seems to have this emotion which allows him to fight the way he does. If George gets the anger and starts to try and take his head off, IMO he'll get picked to bits. If he stands off and works patiently off his jab and improves his movement he will pick up rounds and he will get opportunities, because I believe jdg will come to gentleman George on occasions

    To pull of the gentleman look he does need a big Ginger tash, the curls at the end, and centre parted hair slicked down with brill cream.

    He'll need to grow something fairly substantial, along the lines of below;

    Gentleman George is the next coming of Eubank - from an aristocratic perspective.

    Cant wait for this one, thought Groves looked a little scared at the press conference but he proved me wrong on ringside.

    That's awesome! This should be the picture for the fight poster.

    "Gentleman" George Vs JDG "The Ragamuffin"
