    42yo irrelevent, # 3 current P4P is 46yo
past his prime, possibly, but better than anyone other than Cunningham and Huck at CW, and still does not answer why it isn't a good fight?
if green is so pathetic, even a past his prime Tarver should KO him then shouldn't he?
or are you saying green should beat him as he is past his prime?

42 yrs old is not irrelevent, hopkins is a one in a million, literally. tarver better than anyone other than huck and cunningham at CW? what the hell are you basing that claim on, dont be daft.
i think the FACT that he's past hes prime more thatn answers you question on why its not a good fight

compared to manny siaca, paul briggs, Julio Cesar Dominguez, Anthony van Niekerk and excluding flores coz he made look ordinary but was to scared to have a go, and rjj coz he is a legend and mundine prob could have ko'd that night, but tarver would complement greens record compared to C-class- has beens he has fought in his last 6 fights, plus they both dribble alot of ****.. green 38- tarver-42 , tarver still a handfull

probably would be.Tarver has faced far better opposition
than Danny so even though hes 42 he would be competitive imo.from memory his losses have been to a near prime RJJ,
Hopkins, 2xDawson and i think G.Johnson who even though hes over 40 is fighting for a shot in the final of the SMW super 6.
Tarvers last fight was at HW though so dont think this will happen.the Daily Telegraph is not a good boxing source.

Why doesn't Danny move up to heavy because according to him and his team no one at cruiser is good enough to handle him.

because the title holders r signed to other fights and the contendors r not up to his class.

To be honest I don't think Green's got much left - depending on how much the cyst took out of him (pardon the pun).

I'd would have loved to see him having a red hot go at the LHW division a few years ago when he moved up after losing to Mundine - I always thought he looked much better at LHW - but I think he's missed his boat now - heart and hunger can only carry you so far once age sets in.

Fair play to him, he's made himself a good retirement fund, but I can't see him ever being competitive at LHW again and I think he's just cashing in now before retiring and then having a career in managing and training fighters.

    Agreed.

The lure of the cruiser title, and the bout with Roy that it led to, were just too good an offer to refuse.

Now he's virtually painted into a corner, and the injury is just about the last straw.
