He has no heart. He ****ing quit and for no reason whatsoever. He has no faith in himself. This is definitely the type of guy who has no future ahead of him, and if you are a fan just dump him now.

Most people who knew him say the story is fabricated by GBP, but even if he was left out on the streets robert garcia took him in and let him live in his house, eduardo garcia adopted him.

no he left robert garcia years back and has been training with danny garcia since then.

Would your opinion change if he gets knocked down early by Berto and comes back to win the fight convincingly?

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance and the scenario I lay out above would shut mouth for good.

Nothing wrong with criticism, but some of the **** some fans come out with is just ****ing stupid. Its ironic that these people should call a professional fighter heartless

IMO you can marginalize the need to suck it up the better your defense is. You take away someones target area, they cant be as consistent, if they cant be consistent, they are not hitting you.

Victor Ortiz feels he has heart, but also he knew the problem really is his chin.

In all fairness he was getting bashed around by a huge puncher. And hes probably regretted ever quitting with all of negative feedback hes gotten since then. Hes probably going to labelled as a quitter by some fans for the rest of his career regardless of what he achieves. Seems unfair if you ask me.

True, same with Duran. He went to war with Leonard, Dejesus, and later on Barkley but still people overly highlight his quitjob in the second Leonard fight. It was disgraceful yes, but he made up for that once he went to war with Barkley and choose not to quit when he could've against Lawlor in the first fight. Some people always like to drag others down for their faults yet ignore the good they have down.

But Ortiz hasnt done anything remotely close to what Duran did after the 2nd Leonard fight, and not only that but he also looked bad against Peterson, a fight he could have ended earlier. So as of right now, he is still a ***** ass quitter.

I know but still, some on idiots on here(such as Team Elite) still consider Duran a "quitter" just for that one bad performance. Ortiz will never achieve what Duran did before Leonard but if Ortiz gives Berto a good scrap I'll give him props. I didn't see the Peterson/Ortiz fight but I heard it was a bad performance on Ortiz' part and he really hasn't impressed me against guys such as Campbell & Harris and they were faded.

Nobody takes those idiots seriously (Team Elite), at least i would imagine so.

As for Ortiz, for him to redeem himself, he is gonna have to take on some dangerous opponents and go out there and give it all he has, and not quit when the going gets tough.
