He's actually lost 13lbs since his last fight, he was 270lbs 2 fights ago, so this is him 'in shape'

There is a word I don't hear much any more from our Spanish speaking youth which describes Solis' awesome shape: mierda.

The problem for Solis here is not that he isn't in better shape than recent fights. He does seem to be in better shape than that.

The problem is he's fighting a volume-punching knock-off of Ivan Drago (and I mean that as a compliment). It's not good enough to be in "better" shape against Vitali Klitschko; that's not going to get the job done. Especially if you're 6'1".

I remember how convinced people were that Sammy Peter was going to KO Vitali. We all know how that played out. Solis has skill, but he's still pudgy and he's not the biggest guy in the world. Vitali should be able to handle him with relative ease.

Vitali looks great. What do you want, Mr. Universe?

Vitali by murder over this ****** with the SpongeBob chain.

Solis will need Brigg's old hospital room.

Vitali is going to annihilate Spongebob Solis.

V.K. looks fit as usual to me too. He's a serious dude who knows diet and excercise. The guy also looks naturally toned to me here in 2011. He's ready to park a mother (Solis) inside the distance tomorrow....

:lol::lol: What a ****ing joke. I was just thinking that Solis has great hand speed but no way in hell will he be able to get in close. He should move down to Cruiserweight and beat the **** out of those guys.

Agree 100%. A fat ****** with a blingy Spongebob chain.

    Wow, just what boxing needs!

Fortunately Vitali is going to murder him.

:) This is why the US heavyweights can't win **** these days. You shouldn't try to look like Mr Universe, but rather box like him. Take George Foreman. He would have absolutely murdered Mr.-Universe-Vitali and look how fat he was in his second carreer :)

Exactly. I'm not saying the guy is ready for the pro bodybuilding circuit, but what do people want?

Is Vitali perhaps slightly softer than he has been, and maybe with slightly less muscle mass? Maybe he is. But the guy is about 40 years old, probably doesn't want to overwork himself on bulking up and probably knows that extra muscle weight means extra oxygen needs. If you're an aging fighter, you don't want to lose any oxygen to puffed muscles.

Solis is toast, IMO. I see him at the end of a jab for much of the fight while Vitali drops an accumulation of hooks and crosses until SpongeOdlanier wears out from the shots and his own girth.
