I've used it, It's good at keeping distance and a nice shot to score with, but you have to use it smart and practice it. Also it's dangerous against southpaws because they can counter easier with their jab

Yeah, good shout. If you don't mix it up enough, your opponent will catch on and wait for that 1-2, etc.

Mayweather vs Judah being an example also...not a jab, but shows how vulnerable it can leave you when targeting the body with straight punches.

is what he uses to land the jab? Yeah I agree, I meant he can easily avoid anything coming back when he lands with his defense and reflexes. He has a very big arsenal he can use in fights.

That's actually somewhat similar to the Mayweather-Judah example I was talking about. Neither get their feet in place, both are off balance, and both pay the price.

Beautiful stuff. That compact leaping left hook that he throws such as what he dropped Corrales and Marquez with is a thing of beauty as well.

The prices both start with a hook!

Yep. Leaves you very vulnerable to the hook, or the uppercut. Although I can't remember any examples at the minute of someone countering an attemtped straight to the body with an uppercut. I have actually pulled that shot off in a bout before, only the once though.
