i say yes.from a selfish point of view,i can't wait to see two young, strong, top of their trade fighters going toe-to-toe in possibly the best domestic fight for years.on the flipside,in the current climate, when a boxer's '0' is all important(ridiculously,in my opinion)it could mean a long way back into contention for the loser of this fight.it would probably have made better commercial sense for these two to square off in a couple of years time, with both having versions of world titles, fighting in a mega unification bout as the major attraction of the evening.for what it's worth, while i rate both men highly,i fancy groves to edge a close fight on points, possibly having tasted the canvas himself at some point,on the way to a split decision.my gut feeling is that he has degale's number, and the only possible way he can lose is if his bony facial features succumb to cuts.either way,it should be a fabulous night at the 02,with cleverly in the starring role proving to the doubters that he is an elite fighter who could dominate in his division for years to come.

Adam Booth is not "All that confident" in George Grooves winning, i feel this is Adam Booth testing himself and taking a risk....aswell as George Grooves himself.

    James Degale will win.

No, provided it's one fight and they both go their seperate ways and meet at World level.

I don't want rematches and trilogys and all that at this stage. That's be pointless.

I don't think it's come too soon. The fight make sense to happen right now. DeGale is British champion, Groves is mandatory. It should happen now. If both are as good as they believe then they'll meet again one day when both are really rated highly but it definitely makes sense for it to happen now. I'm sick of fights not happening because they're 'not big enough.. yet'.

Depends on how you look at it I guess, this might be the best stage for Groves to be equipped to deal with De Gale, not because Groves is any better at this stage, but because De Gale will probably get better and better with experience, and he has enough of a gap in talent to bridge as it is.

adam booth -haye's rentboy-doesn't take too many risks.he sees groves as the victor here or he wouldn't take the fight.i tend to agree.

Its better for George Grooves to take a beating now "And suffer a emotional defeat", than it will be later on in his career.

Adam Booth always plays the long game, he knows this is a risk, but a positive risks.

Why dose'nt Adam Booth take risks..?

    No.

Simple reason: How can you wait for Groves to improve his stature when he showed such glaring vulnerability against Anderson?

I'm not slating him for it, I don't think it was as bad as people claimed, but he showed bad deficiencies. You can't risk it. They've got to fight now or you risk losing it completely. It's still big, they're making good money as Frank says. Had to happen.

This fight will destroy Grooves as a young man, he will slip into mild depression which could become serious. But its something he needs to go through, to become a man. He's still a boy, he does not know who is, he does not have any idea who George Grooves is.

    He's a bi-product of Adam Booth & David Haye's relationship.

He just appeared one day in the gym.

He's copying David Haye's mannerisms inside of the ring, and he's trying to speak like Adam Booth at times. With a cold, nonchalant demeaner. But i for one can see straight through that, because he's not a very good impersonator, and he's not 100% sure of himself.........

And James Degale can see this....

Deep down Adam Booth knows all of this will happen, but it is necessary to happen. For George Groves to move on in his career. George Grooves is already been hurt by all the deep insults James Degale is making, and people may slate James Degale. But I've noticed when it comes to street bully psychology he is well equipped in this area......

He can see that George Groove is hurt, and that he is lying to himself and his trainer Adam Booth.

Somebody like David Haye is completely at one with himself, he will openly talked about his weaknesses and strengths. He hides nothing from Adam Booth who is like a Jedi, when it comes to psychological preparation for War.

George Grooves is lying to himself, and he is trying to convince himself, he is scared.

Its better for George Grooves now to suffer a physical and psychological beating.

Thats why Adam Booth let him take this fight, so he could learn.
