In all fairness on the same day that Ireland won the six nations grand slam in a dramatic performance against Wales, Dunne Koed Cordoba in an equally exciting performance. Dunne still got bucketloads of credit and praise from the media for his perforamance if i remember. But that was from the irish media i suppose, cant recall how the british media reacted to Dunnes win myself.
I know, and despite what sportofkings says, Dunne's win was overshadowed in the Irish media by the grand slam win which got the vast majority of the attention. I've got money on a Belghecham, Rigo(stoppage), Bute(stoppage) and Sweeney accumulator. I'd be delighted to lose that bet due to a Casey or Magee win, even Fitzer beating Belghecham would soften the blow quite a bit.
Getting close now- can't wait. Anyone want to wet their appetite further here is views of all involved. Someone is after saying to me "I bet u 20 Casey will knock him out in the later rounds". Oh me of little faith...
what time is it back home right now , the clocks have changed here and I am trying to work out when the Casey fight starts
Good luck Big Bang. Odds are stacked heavily against him, but if he loses; it won't be due to lack of heart or guts. What time is Magee-Bute at?
It's 5pm chief. The show starts at 10pm so I'd say the fight will be around 11:15 So about 6 hours time. Love the avatar by the way! Magee Bute is 2am I think
Bout ya gasman, I'm having problems with my phone and nicky couldn't get the hold of me on Thursday. So he regurgitated things I have said before, but I don't ever remember saying I think magee or Casey will win. I have said that I would love both guys to win but I doubt it very much. In saying that I think magee has a better chance than Casey to cause an upset. So my pick remains the same, Casey to be brave but get stopped inside 6 and magee has a chance but I think Bute will take it on points
