I think Canelo beats Cotto and beats him by KO.

Cotto really said that? Ugggh Margarito would murk Cotto. And I think Canelo would beat him to Cotto did not look good against Mayorga

I actually agree with this. The problem with Cotto is his changed immensely from the fighter he was earlier on in his career. In his early days Cotto was an inside fighter who would go to the body and head with devastating accuracy. He controlled the ring well and would stay in the pocket with his chin well protected and would throw excellent 3-4 punch combinations with devastating power.
These days he doesn't use the ring well at all and fights in to many spots. His punch output is simply too low. He doesn't stay in the cup for fear of getting hurt now that he's at the higher weight and spends too much time surveying his work and using the ring unintelligently.
Canelo for me uses the ring far better than Cotto does currently and is more than willing to give one to take one. As long as his chin holds up i actually fancy him as the better box puncher and a live underdog.

Canelo isnt ready for Cotto yet. He needs to seriously tighten up that guard. He ate Matt Hatton's best shots but big deal. If Cotto was presented with the same open target that was given to Hatton, Cotto would destroy it.

Chavez jr yeah, but canelo is more than capable of pulling a win. If canelo withstands Cottos power, than canelo by ko.
