Sure, a punch landed but nothing huge. Anyone who thinks that punch, even if it did land on the "top of the head", actually knocked him down or out, is having a laugh. He was clearly looking for a way to not get beaten up, probably secure a big fight in the future and look for an excuse. He went down of a punch which landed and took the easy way out.

Even Vitali knew it wasn't a hard shot which is why he went over to berate the cowardly Solis. Disgusting to see him lie through his teeth later and say "It was a hard shot". From every angle, it doesn't look like a hard shot and Vitali knew it wasn't. For him to go back on that, is shameful.

Farcical fight. I feel sorry for the Germans who filled the arena. That main event and such a **** undercard? Please. Every person in the arena deserves their money back. This was no better than Green/Briggs. A dive, without question.

Just disgraceful in every sense of the word.

Danny Green is an ATG and clearly landed a superb shot on Briggs. Was a top KO and not a dive at all.

This wasn't a dive either, you muppet.

Solis was clearly scared, and quit.

Absolutely. Disgraceful finish and Vitali knew it. Anyone saying it was a legit knockdown needs to look at Vitali's reaction. He ****ing knew it was a dive!

He dehydrated too much for the fight, got hit in the temple by a 250lb man and he was done. The punch killed his legs and clouded his head.

If he had been hydrated this would not have happened.....just as I thought he did not lose any fat for the fight, he just dropped water.

EDIT: Over-reaction after first viewing in real-time, I've now seen that it was an actual punch.

I enjoyed reading some of your other posts, but damn, you just went to the dumb**** group.

Anyone who has watched boxing over the years and understands the fight game has an simple understanding of how temple shots work and the resulting loss of equilibrium.

An undefeated Olympic champion got put on ***** street....standing next to you.

To question his character like he took a dive is ignorant and irresponsible.

I think Solis was genuinely hurt from that shot and once on the ground decided he wasnt going to win. Vitali would have won that fight regardless of anything Solis could have done

Solis didn't take a dive. The punch which has messed up Linares, Chambers and Trinidad was the same punch that Vitali caused.

Vitali was angry because he saw Solis stand up, but that does not mean he lied about his punch being hard. Solis' head snapped. If that wasn't a hard punch it wouldn't have snapped.

The punch caused a knockdown. Solis' knee gave out during the knockdown because he lacked control of it.

The German hospital already said that Solis' knee's ligaments are all messed up.

Just because Haye ACTUALLY had a diving opponent in Audley, doesn't mean Vitali's opponent actually took a dive. You just WANT that to be the case. And that's wrong.
