Had he not injured his knee he could have continued. These freak injuries happen in the ring, I'd hope for a rematch but I doubt it'll happen. So yeah, calm down.

Oh yeah, it's absolutely impossible for an injury to occur in a title fight atsch He would have been able to get back up from the punch and fought on if it weren't for the knee injury. Fighters get KD'd all the time, look what happened to Hopkins twice (three times?) against Pascal for example. No one said Solis had a better chin than Briggs.
yeah happened to all the great fighters...holmes, norton, foreman, tyson, lewis, louis, marciano, hell even dokes, page, coetzee, thomas, bowe..... yeah well too ****ing bad...hopkins got up and went 12 rounds. if if if if if well he got got knocked down and and couldnt continue for whatever reason,.....so he looks like a jack ass now....... anyone can say he could have fought on, and he could have got knocked down 2 more times and out in round 2.....he blew his shot...he is a disgrace with all the trash talking he did...LTKO1 in the books
Solis goes in the history book as one of of Vitali's easiest wins, but if you were reading Boxing forums the last few weeks this fight was going to be Vitali hardest test for years. The truth is that Solis didn't deserve to even share the ring with vitali. I do wish him luck with his injury though, no Boxer deserves a severe injury
Its sucks for the 19.000 people who went to the stadium and all of us watching who expected a good fight, based on the round before the kd I thought it could be a very good fight, yet it ends like this and boxing looks foolish once again, I dont blame Vitali though he really wanted to put on a show for the fans. For vitali this was a easy win easy money over a good opponent who went down pathetic this night.
Excuse me but what would be the point of a rematch? I think Solis made it very clear for everyone to see that he can't take Vit's power.
