    Jack...you are simply wrong.

I played Division 1 basketball. I have seen many, many guys tear their knee (acl, mcl, pcl, etc...).

You don't act like Solis did...ever....it is impossible.

He was gone..his equilibrium was off. It was a perfect shot.

Someone with a little sense and fair judgement for once. Well spoken.

I'll say it straight up: If anybody thinks Vitali actually hurt Solis with that "punch" they are a ****ing a ******. It was a glancing shot.

Bull**** fight, and another black-eye on boxing. Total sham. If Vitali was ANY kind of sportsman, he wouldn't even want that "win" on his record. Another reason not to watch the heavyweight division.

    ****ing pathetic.

Many people question it, actually. See David Remnick's excellent bio of Ali if you're curious.

Putting that aside, people don't take deliberate dives and tear their ACL's. That doesn't happen.

He wasn't hurt. He was off balance and fell down and hurt his knee. He was obviously not hurt in the least, and didn't pretend to be. His knee was messed up.

Anybody who says that Vitali never hurt Solis with that punch has never actually been hit with a punch to the temple before. I have and from a real big guy, and it knocked me out of my equilibrium for a full second or two before I came back and hit the guy in the face.

And then I got banned from sparring. Which is stupid.

I dont think he took a dive, but I do think it should be investigated.

the lack of legs control makes me think it was a genuine KO.. he got hit in the temple... and u dont need a hard punch to get knocked.. let alone a jab from a heavyweight...

PS. Briggs was never hit when he fell.. that was a dive.. but this is a KO

Guy hurt his leg before that punch was ever thrown, dumb****.

Watch the ****ing fight. He hyper-extended when he moved his head and came at Vitali. He turns his left ankle before he steps back and hyper-extends the knee.

You are a ****ing moron. He was going to go down regardless. And I don't even like that fat piece of ****... but it is obvious as **** that the punch did jack ****. Vitali should be ashamed getting a win like that, seriously.

He walked from the ring ok, it certainly wasn't a ligament tear to his knee. He is a fine actor if he was pretending to have lost his equilibrium, i have watched the replays and still find it odd that the punch caused so much damage, Klit clearly didn't think so and he should know. A bad night for boxing.

I don't think people should be surprised that Oner's fighter has a medical report a couple of hours after the event. He's as shady a promoter as there ever has been in boxing.

Are you actually claiming Solis took a dive for some sort of gambling scheme? Who put him up to it -- the mob?

Solis lost his legs form the shot to the temple, no way he was faking that. If he hurt himself falling down from the KO too bad, he lost.

    No, I'm not.

I think it's more likely that Solis wanted a way out with his reputation intact to get a rematch.
