Did solis get hurt from that shot?

I think this the best thing that could had happens to Solis, either he gets with the program and start training hard or he gets out of the sport.

 

Wouldnt you say that too if you went down from a freak shot? and twisted your leg on the way down??????????

 

Here's Wlad KOing Chambers with a similar delayed reaction. Punch seems to land around the eye area near the temple. Fast foward to around 3:15 or so & they show multiple angles & the delayed reaction.

The guy turned his left ankle before Vitali throws a punch.

 

I beg to differ when they call it a light punch with nothing behind it. He puts force into it, and it lands with Solis very close to Vitali's body, so the power was behind it, yes.

And the effects speak for themselves.

So why did Solis hold his right knee when he was down? Both legs were rubber when he tried to stand.

 

He hyper-extends the right leg when he steps back after he turns the left ankle. Solis is a fat piece of **** and he hurt himself. Plain and simple.

Watch the replay from an angle that shows his legs BEFORE Vitali throws his punch. He was already wobbly.

 

Maybe he was forgetting which one was supposed to be hurt? LOL

 

Short, tight punches usually do the most damage & who's to say Solis had a good chin? It was never really tested in the pro ranks..............as another poster already commented.

 

Right, and given that the range of motion is less for those shorter, tighter punches, the power put into them is also harder to gauge.
