he won the first and shared the second as Belecham did his usaul nothing then Belecham went forward for the next two and outworked Fitz he was having a decent 5th and i thought about to take over when fitz jumped on him witha flurry and the ref stopped it.
Was told after refr has Bel a point up at the stoppage.Maybe schooled isnt the right statement but the stoppage was bull ****.

 

Fitzer looked busy and was winning the rounds I saw.

But Affif comes on in the second have of the fight.

The stoppage was bogus, granted Fitzer landed at least ten unanswered shots but none of them really made a powerful connection and Affif was in perfect condition.

And although i could understand it, he will get a ban for his post fight antic

Yeah he wasn't getting schooled in fairness. I was sitting beside the WBA judge, the boy who reffed the Casey - Rigo fight (and also McGuigan Pedroza) and looking over his shoulder.

He had it 4-0 to Fitzgerald too. Though yeah, the stoppage was a bit premature - like you Mush?

Overall the performance was very good.

Did anyone watch the Barry McGuigan v Jim McDonald match? If so was it close or was Barry getting well beaten? Cheers in advance.
