Rigondeaux KO's Casey in 1. (Video inside, hurry up!)

wow Rigo looked afraid and disgraceful vs Cordoba but this is a good look. After the Cordoba fight I kinda wrote him off as a runner with amateur style that translates into boring pro safety first fights without trying to hurt the other guy. casey is probably the worst title challenger ever but still nice to see Rigo go for the KO and get it, maybe there's hope for him yet.

He's nowhere even close to that, hell if it had been Molitor Casey was in with he may even have had somewhat of a chance of winning. But Rigondeaux was all wrong for him, the perfect fighter to punish Casey for his technical flaws and aggression.

 

Damn they were fighting on a football field! LMAO! Somebody's promoter made sure their guy had room to R-U-N if necessary!

I disagree, Molitor is quality, has beaten opponents overseas with homecooking for belts and Casey has done nothing ever but beat a couple comestic UK fighters. Molitor had 4 title defenses lost his title, got it back and has gotten 2 more under his belt. He's a quality boxer and he'd box Casey's ears off while dancing circles around him and potshotting. Molitor would be a good next step for Rigo for experience and a winnable fight for Rigo, not to mention a very quality name on the resume but if Rigo takes him lightly he could be upset.

 

And looking like **** he beat a 37-2 fighter with wins over Caballero and Sydorenko, among others, in just his 7th fight.

Rigo is a beast.
