It was to early to tell. Recently Klitschko is putting his tempo up as the bout continues just like against Sosnowski. Maybe he was measuring Solis or maybe he really started to getting old - you can't tell. The fact is that he KNOCKED OUT his rival in 1. Conspiracy theories coming...
I just rewatched the fight on you tube and I stand by my original statement. Vitali only landed 4 clear body shots, others were blocked by Solis. Solis landed the 2 most eye catching punches in the fight. A right hand off the ropes in the first minute and a left hook off the ropes with about 20 seconds to go. He also landed a glancing right hand to Vitali's chin early on in the fight and decent left hook, that combined by a few of his own body shots more than outscore what little Vitali did with his jab and 4 clear body shots. But who really cares who won the few 2 and half minutes, fact is the better man won. Vitali even when getting caught was turning away from shots and taking the power off them and he looked calm and confident, even clowning Solis just before the right hand that sent him down ***** street.
Man vitali looks so horrible though his stupid faints made me laugh, Solis was doing well but hurt his knee because of the punch and fell awkwardly
NO! Solis was boxing and backing up and, did land a couple of punches from two flurries, but Klit was the leader who was pressing and jabbing while moving in... A close / even match until Solis got hit on the head and his knee gave out. V.K. TKO 1 Solis is THE VERDICT!:deal MR.BILL:hat
I can't believe have solis winning the round until the TKO. Ah yes Solis got his knee injures so that vitali punch don't cause the KD.
very very dissappointed. solis was winning the fight very easily, blocking all shots and landing some nice counters. it would have only got easier for him as the rounds passed but solis will be back no doubts.
