What's happened to RTE Boxing, that was their first show this year and they have nothing else lined up, have they packed it in?

The Casey fight was only on because of:

"'This has been made possible by Dolphil Promotions having secured independent finance to cover the associated television production costs."

It was pretty much a one off they weren't interested in spending the money for the production cost but they said they would show it if somebody stumped up the money.

Shame because what they saw last night probably wont make them want to invest more

Rigondeaux-Donaire would be a dream lower division fight but I would like to see each have a few fights before hand. Rigondeaux needs a rnge of tests (like cordoba provided) before it and the likes of cermeno, molitor and possible even munroe could provide them. Donaire should be looking towards the mares-agbeko winner, hopefully after taking on moreno who I rate highly. Give time for this fight to build with more tv exposure for both, hopefully here in britain as well, and it could become the biggest lower weight clash in years

Rigo should fight Shimoda, hes not one of the best in the division, and it will give Rigo the chance to fight somone whos in a better class than Casey. Rigo can also win the wba belt outright if he fights shimoda
