Froch was in a war with Magee, Bute was barely hit once or twice by Magee. This is the difference between boxers and brawlers. Hit and not get hit = boxing.

    that's a foolish statement, a lot of them rounds were very close. You were probably too busy listening to the ridiculously biaised commetry. Personally I scored it;

    Round Bute Magee
    1 10 9
    2 9 10
    3 10 9
    4 9 10
    5 10 9
    6 10 9
    7 10 8
    8 10 9
    9 9 10
    Total 87 83

    Good performance by Bute

    -in the 6th also 10-8
-there were 2 legit KDs in the 7th so 10-7
We are talking about the actual performance and we need to remove referees mistakes right?

I don't the first KD, even if it was legit, because Magee was fair enough not to rest. He went right back to action. That allowed Bute to score the second KD.

If his knee touches the canvas as a result of a punch (and it most certainly did) then it's a KD.

Yes but you only score it as one per the referee's ruling.

If it's clearly a slip but the ref calls it a knockdown, you score it as a knockdown.

If it's clearly a knockdown but the ref calls it a slip, you don't score it as a knockdown.

    Unfortunately referees have that power.
