Did anyone notice how Darke & Glenn Mcrolly (sp) were very critical of Liam Walsh last night?

I've got no love for any of the Walsh brothers (although Liam is the most likeable) as they come across like a bunch of horrible ****s.

Normally Sky like to blow smoke up any young talents arse but not the Walsh's. Kays was game last night but considering it was only Liams 11th fight, I thought he did ok... He seemed incredibly fit, he wasn't ever really fazed, he mixed his shots up nicly & seemed in control througout..

The Sky team jumped on every mistake he made and it seemed clear to me that Sky, (like most of us) can't wait for the Walsh brothers to be knocked down a peg or two..

For the record, I think the older Walsh brother (who wears the STt George Cross shorts) is the biggest **** of the 3..

Weird how we all see these things differently. I was watching a bang average performance against an average opponent and they seemed to constantly defend and justify his struggles. Then back in the studio Barry was blowing smoke up his arse post-fight.

Didn't Ian Darke say something along the lines of "That's the problem with being too good" to him after?

What were you impressed about Rob? He only put together a combination of punches twice in the whole fight. He didn't have much answer to the jab of Kays when he threw it. His footwork was suspect which is why it took him 10 rounds in find a body punch. His work-rate was poor. Everything was mediocre last night and he didn't seem the talent I thought.

I just got the impression they were dying to see him get dropped (liked most of us)

They also mentioned a few times that his career to date has been made up of "journey man" & they hype might be unjust...- They don't normally say things like that.

So they told the truth? I'm not going to criticize them for that. I think they called the fight pretty even handedly. It was an even fight until the stoppage and they called it as such.

Between Ian Darke and Barry they did plenty of sucking him off.

Darke, to me, seemed to be very supportive of Kays. But that was probably down to him being shocked at how Kays - a big underdog - was right in the contest until the end, rather than any hate towards Walsh.

I'll give the credit, they have humbled some what and I definitely think someone has had a word with them..

I remember watching some of there early fights.. They were all fighting "foreigners" - the entire crowd were chanting "England" & the way the Walsh's conducted themselves, before, during & after the fight never sat well with me..

i thought they where trying to big him a lot and kept justify his performance by saying it only his 12th fight
