He says Bute is the best opponent he has ever faced. Also that he has more speed, power, stamina and skill than Froch! Sorry Froch fans but this is what Magee actually said! :)

Bute certainly has more handpseed and skill than Froch. Time will tell, however, it he's willing to lace 'em up with the best like the Cobra.

Personally, I think Bute has elite level talent, whereas Froch succeeds with a lot of grit, determination, and can-do attitude. Now, I am not saying Froch is without skill, but I don't think he's been overly blessed.

Bute and Froch get hit too much. Bute better stay the hell away from AA.

Very nice interview with Magee. It would be amazing if all fighters could be so honest and gracious after a loss.

The interview doesn't mean a great deal on the grand scheme of things, I think Froch has already beaten fighters who are faster and more skillful than him.

Bute wasn't overly impressive for me, but it's nice to see a fighter so gracious in defeat.

I figure Andrade would lead a lot more than Bute, who was posing for most part, waiting to draw mistakes and then counter. Andrade would be pressing the action and would probably force a stoppage sooner as a result. ...Again, doesn't mean much, styles make fights.

Magee is an impressive fellow. Candid interview that made sense. He is also a tough, well conditioned fighter who got unfairly judged on this site. In fact the UK seems to have many tough, well conditioned fighters you are dismissed because ot their passports.

I disagree. Kessler should be above Froch as Kessler beat Froch. Froch has only had one fight after losing to Kessler and that was a fighter coming off a loss. Froch is one of my favourite fighters but he cant be above Kessler because Kessler beat him only one fight previously

    This.

Fighters often like to throw a curveball into interviews. And many times they dont half talk ****. Froch Magee was a bit of a grudge match too if i remember correctly.

Next we'll be rating Froch on his staredowns with opponents................oh wait thats already been done. :patsch
