    Shogun vs Forrest, the rematch.

    Good idea? Bad idea?

Good fight, but I think it will go pretty much the same as the 1st if it goes past the 1st round

Good fight. Again, Shogun should absolute paste him unless he gasses. Griffin has good grappling and concentrated on the wrestling in his last fight so who knows what Griffin could do with that.

I think this could be a good comback fight for shogun and griffin gets a chance to prove he can do it again.

I dont think forrest can to be honest, shogun will probably be in much better shape.

Tko 1st round for shogun rua!

Its a great idea. Shogun needs to rebuild himself and what better way to motivate him then face a guy who choked him and embarrased him in his UFC debut ? Forrest has always been giving credit for that win but not nearly as much as he woul for backing it up and kicking Shogun's ass agian. Plus with 3 consecutive wins over Champions like Ortiz, Franklin and Shogun then Forrest would have fought his way back into serious title contention agian.

And then he will get rewarded with a fight with Jones!! Yeah, if I was him I'd rematch Franklin for an easy payday and save the title shots until Jones moves up to Heavyweight

Could be interesting, but as stated I'd rather see Shogun vs Rampage. Rampage fighting Hamil is such a boring fight. Can't believe the matchmakers are putting that on.

Shogun/Rampage II? I think Shogun brutalizes him all over again.

A rematch with Forrest is very interesting, but I see another repeat.

Shogun-Rampage II would be exactly the same as Shogun-Rampage I. Rampage is done. Shogun-Griffin is more intriguing because of Griffin's past performance against Shogun.

Don't be so sure. Rampage was carrying injurys going into that fight. And it was of course fought under PRIDE rules in a ring which is very different to the unified rules in the Octagon. Shogun has absolutely lost a step. But its been proven that despite two very severe career beat downs Rampage still went into to win the UFC title. He doesn't fight enough these days and is in the twilight of his career but its a great time for him to make the series 1-1. Good come backing fight for both if you ask me.
