    :think

I don't understand, how can there be a 3rd negotiation if there never was a 2nd.....that is, if Floyd's side was telling the truth.

I am assuming you are simply trying to stir the ******* **** pot and don't actually believe that Mayweather asked for $100M

I believe that was a multi-fight promotional deal with Don King ( I could be wrong and dont feel like checking)

This + talks about South Africa, me thinks Mayweather is going international, and fighting all over the world in various venues :happy that would be cool.......

ARUM SAYS NEGOTIATIONS FOR MAYWEATHER-PACQUIAO TOOK PLACE WITH KING, BUT FLOYD WANTS $100 MILLION

"We went through a negotiation that nobody really knew about with Mayweather. Some group came in wanting to put it in a particular country and Mayweather asked for a number that was so high that he indicated that he didn't want to fight," stated promoter Bob Arum, who suprisingly revealed that he and fellow Hall of Fame promoter Don King had a private negotiation in hopes of putting together the fight we've all been waiting for, the highly anticipated showdown between pound-for-pound champions Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. While most fans have speculated that King and Arum were working behind the scenes in hopes of making the fight a reality, this is the first time that either promoter have openly admitted that discussions actually took place. Unfortunately, it sounds like the fight may be even further from taking place than we ever imagined, as Arum says Mayweather is looking to get even more money than what's been offered in the past.

:huh100 million for one fight? ****er is terrified to fight pacquaio:-( just tell everyone you don't wanna fight.

Neither Arum nor the Mayweathers are a credible source. It's best to just assume the fight will never get made and focus on matches that are going to happen, namely Haye-Klitschko. Cotto-Marg 2 is not a bad one either. I'm going to overlook Pac-Mosley and the thought of Pac-JMM 3 is a pleasure. Floyd-Pac was just a bad dream. Time to wake up.

They should save the negotiations for after the Mosley fight. Also, just a comment. I love Shane Mosley. A very very very good fighter. Great? There can be made a case for him by his quality of opposition yes and beating Oscar and the titles. But if he loses to Pacman, he should not be given anymore big fights unless he earns it.

So what? Who cares. As long as the fight gets made.
