how do you get in a fight unprepared?? how do you injure yourself when you're the one on the offensive hitting nothing and then stumble down and say you didn't get hit?

To me it looked like his knee went out when he was dipping and trying to brace himself for the countershot and the reason he did a "chicken dance" is because he only had one good leg. Check out this gif which actually shows his legs:

He's still clearly upset about the event loss to Sergio Martinez back in 2009 and is taking it out on members of The Main Event Mafia

If Solis' knee was in such bad shape, why did he not have it strapped up or some sort of support on it if there was a problem?

People are drastically overrating Solis's performance in round one. Look closely... none of those lunging combos landed as cleanly as Vitali's punch that wobbled Solis.

The Main Event Mafia's HQ is a huge glass building is Geneva, enabling us mafiosa to simultaneously review recent event tapes and bask in the glorious Swiss sunshine.

Impressed by amount of boxing noobs joining lately, good for the sport. Lesson today: temple shot.

So you guys really think it was the temple shot that did it, not that he twisted his leg?

I thought Solis was known for having a good beard?

Haye, too for that matter. People keep talking about the chin but it appears there are different soft spots for different fighters.

Good point. This is why Reebok made Khan temple protective gloves. They were rejected by the NSAC for their strange shape.
