No way will he get close to $100 million. Hell $55 million is pushing it. I can understand wanting the bigger share of the purse but he's crazy if he thinks he's getting that.

Arum debate aside, I can't find a reason to see why Roger would even mention such a ludicrous amount unless:

1- They don't want the fight
2- They don't think Pac is "worthy" (no pun intended) of fighting Floyd

Man this don't make any sense. Why would Floyd ask for 100 million dollars? What would he expect Manny to get? Maybe 100 mill is for the both of them, or he wants 100 million to promote the fight and stuff.
I know Floyd isn't trying to ask for a 70/30 or even a 80/20 split, so there gotta be more to 100 million than just that's how much Floyd gonna get.

Also remember when you're negotiating, you gotta shoot high and then come down lower

True but 100 million dollars is a ridiculous number to even start with.

Floyd should have been DQ'ed against Zab. Soon as Rodger entered the ring. And the ref missed the knock down. Floyd's glove hit the canvas, standing 8 and a 10-8 round. I think that fight would have gone differently if Rodger kept his ass where it belonged.

    Here's exactly what was said-
"What's it gonna take to make it happen?"
    "100 million dollars"
So there isn't any context around his reply, we can hope for it to be the total revenue generated but I doubt that's what was on Roger's mind.

    A possibility

Why are people using Arum's interview from this month to try and debunk a video that was made less than a month ago? If Roger said it, he said it. It doesn't matter that the guy interviewing Arum guessed the number correctly after the fact. Roger himself said 100 Mil. Cut and dry.

He wants 100million plus 80/20 share of PPV . It makes sense now? No wonder he agreed to the 10M penalty for coming overweight.
