    You're a joke.

Not only was Lewis tired in the fight I'm talking about, there are two reasons why he was tired. But you don't know that, you don't even know the fight I'm talking about here.

You know sh*t, dude. You've confirmed that for everybody reading this forum.

But, hey, if you want to keep digging your hole, I'll keep helping you bury yourself. This is fun. And easy.

If your talking about the Rahman fight then it is'nt really valid has to him getting beat through tiredness or a lack of stamina is it? Not being climatised for a fight at altitude and taking some one lightly is hardly gassing in a fight is it. It was a slow paced fight that Lewis was actually winning, so like i thought a childish argument that sums you up perfectly. If it's another fight then enlighten me, otherwise f*ck off and bother someone else with your petty drivel.

Vitali was winning the first rounds, but watch Vitali going back to his corner after round six....He was also exhausted...But anyway, his FACE was in absolute horrible condition, the left side of his face was open for **** sake!!??Vitali did fought a GREAT fight, but the stoppage was the ONLY RIGHT THING TO DO....George Foreman said after round 4,they should take a seriously look at that injury, cause he could end up loosing his sight for life!!
Ofcouse Vitali would continue,he could not see how bad he was cut!!

IF they had continue fighting,NOBODY knows what would had happen....Lewis could had been KO,or lewis could had continue open the face until it would fall of.... It was the right dicision to stop the fight, because the injurys was so bad.

If you think Lewis was simply "pot-shotting" Vitali in the last round, you obviously never watched the fight.

And can you tell us how if Lewis was manhandled during the fight, it was Vitali who looked like he was hit by a truck and it was a doctor who stopped him from continuing?

If you're going to support Vitali, that's fine, but introduce a little reality into the the discussion once in a while.

Some of us have actually watched the fight.

His mad isn't he. I think he needs to start watching boxing full stop. Rather than see everyone has good and evil super hero characters.

I disagree with the bit about Lewis's people paying off the doctors...I presume you are joking? On the other hand, there is every reason to believe Lewis would have collapsed in the seventh if the fight had continued. Just watch Lewis as he returns to his corner after the sixth: he actually collapses onto his stool. He's nearly finished.

Vitali finished the sixth as the stronger fighter. He even stood up to some massive punches that round without wilting.

They definately had no choice but to stop the fight, and I suspect Vitali had a pretty good idea of how hurt he was.

My guess is after the cut in between rounds it would have been made crystal clear that the fight could be stopped at any time and he best go out and try and get Lewis out of there before that happened. There's no way a corner would conceal this type of info from their fighter, especially after the doctor was looking at the cut in between rounds.

There's certainly a fair number of posters who don't know how do assimilate facts into a debate, that's for damn sure, and he's obviously one of them.

I guess your right, that the corner knew how bad it was,but the fighter is running on pure andrenaline in this case and would probably "think" i can go on...It could had end tragicly if they didn´t stopped it.
It was a GREAT fight though...

Without wilting???..he was drapped all over Lewis for f-sakes what the hell do you call that??

Lewis was trying to create space to finish Vitali off, and Vitali was hanging onto him for dear life..what fight did you see?

excellent fight, just leaves us with a lot of "what if it continued" threads,
...as Vitali wanted to continue and hardcore boxing fans should've wanted it to continue.
i prefer the "what if they rematch" threads but i'll leave that for those threads :D

:patsch You cant be for real with this BS...So I guess you're forgetting on how Vitali was holding on for dear life as the 6th ended...I guess you also forgot how heavily he was breathing in between rounds so I dont get how the hell you can come up with that conclusion when Lennox was starting to take over in that fight.

What the **** are you talking about he paid the doctors off?:huh

    That was Lewis.

Lewis is the black guy, Vitali is the white guy.

If you;d watched the fight, you'd have noticed Vitali barely even threw a shot in his last round.

He threw maybe 10 shots, and landed about 2.

He was not only severly hurt, but severly gassed.........

    He was finished. Period.

He would have been stopped, if he wasn't pulled out
