Exactly. :good If Gamboa loses, it isn't an "exposure". If he wins, Solis isn't a "bum". It's two of the top guys in the division going at it, and while there's a clear favorite it's anybody's game.
But you know how ppl here value the 0, and either you r the greatest (Pacquio, K's, Fmj, jmm, lopez, etc..) or you are a bum.
Well, let's not rush to use Pacquiao as a barometer for Gamboa's performance. :yep Hell, in his last few fights he's been graded on performance against common opposition with Lopez. It's a bit unfair at this stage to size either of them up against Pac.
That was four years ago.. Solis has also lost to Cristobal Cruz since then too which was filled with point deductions..
You wanna know the result of this fight? Take a glass outside and drop it on the pavement. Shattered Glass. Gamboa falls in 6.
Gamboa doesn't throw enough to end it in 4......most likely a UD or TKO after 10. I do hope Solis pulls it out and becomes another player in the FW division.
The way Solis dodges the right hand, I have a feeling he can run into a few of those ultra fast left hybrid hook/uppercuts that Gamboa throws with he runs off his 3-4 punch combinations. That being said if Solis can be aware of that I think he can stick behind his jab and technique and outpoint Gamboa. I'd bet Solis at better than 3/1 odds. Likely the odds will be around that. Probably the odds on a Solis decision win will be very good. But it's very possible Solis gets robbed. I don't see Solis knocking Gamboa out. I can definitely see Gamboa knocking out Solis. Hard to say. Right now I can't even find odds on this fight.
