Have you seen Bob's latest interview, with Pinoy TV?

He's basically saying that "Mayweather was demanding $100 million" to fight Pacquiao.

The truth actually is, Mayweather, months ago, demanded $100 million, guaranteed, to sign a 3 fight deal with Don King, with Pacquiao as one of the three opponents.

The $100 million refers to the entire Don King Deal (multiple fights), not just to face Pacquiao!?

You know, I actually e-mailed my friend who works at boxing scene, for his take, and this what he sent me. I'm basically quoting him.

"Yeah, we've already has this from the horse's mouth. Ignored it. Slick Bob is playing the media spin game yet again….In dealing with Don King , mayweather asked Don for a three fight 100 million dollar deal, which included the manny pacquiao fight…

Why did Bob wait so long to say anything? This happened 6 months ago. Oh yeah pacquiao has a fight coming up, so expect to hear mayweathers name a bunch out of Arums mouth"

What I'm saying is, whenever Arums trying to sell pacquiao fans a crappy opponent, he usually just talks about Mayweather a lot.

Well we can say this about bob, his boxers make good easy money, unlike king who ****s them over, he increases his power in the game by making golden boy suffer and he makes millions of it.
Only one that are screwed are us fans because we dont get the fights we want and therefore the game suffers as well.

He is a great promoter, and builds talent well and makes certain people rich, but I absolutely hate the man for repeatively f*cking the fans over. I hate Don King just as much, but for different reasons. King at least puts a nice card together, Arum's are sh*t. But King rapes his fighters. It takes an evil genius to be a good promoter...

    Yeah.

As solely a fan, I prefer King, but as a person, I prefer Arum.

Reasoning: Don King has murdered at least two people in his life. As far as we know, Arum has not.

So when it comes to "who I'd rather have date my grandmother," Arum'd get the slight edge.
