You actually have to be kidding, don't you?

Do realise that Floyd was actually quoted as saying 'i'm a gorilla, i'm a dawg'? THAT is the basis of my thread - it has nothing to do with Race. The only person I can see talking about race around here is you.

I make fun of Floyd because he comes out with some of the most ******ed things I've ever heard in my life. For no apparent reason, without a shred of evidence you blame race. Sad

    Come on man.

That's just how you justify it to yourself.

People fundamentally hate David Haye, and mayweather, as they're dominant black guys, who tell you they're dominant

You want them to lose, so hate on them, and back their rivals.

Have you ever heard some of the racist things Arum and Pacquiao have come out with before?

If you spend your time, just looking for negatives on guys, because you don't like them, that's your own issues

White American historically hates great and cocky black athletes. In order to be loved by White America you have to be humble and know your place otherwise they will kill you in the media. There is a long list of guys like that, I could go on and on.:deal

    I'm just saying,

Look at Haye's resume compared to say Adameks?

And how they're treated by fans? and pundits?

And then look at Mayweathers resume, compared to Wlad Klitshkos

And you're telling me, it's based on performance, and record?

I wish people would stop bull shitting on this.

    I agree with you

HOWEVER: name a couple of white athletes whom act like that. Maybe the African American race is very loud, pompous, and in-your-face about it. And perhaps (white) Americans don't like those qualities.

You've never seen Tom Brady pull any of the stunts any of the above listed have pulled. Insert 95% of mainstream white athletes where Brady is named.

You don't know ****. Look at my post history. I'm half black and am a Mayweather fan and have always said Mayweather would beat Pac.

They are disliked because they are bitches. Not because they're black.

LOL at the Gorilla/chipmunk comment. Just shows your level of intelligence.

    I'm a white brit.

    I'm also a sociologist.

America is always looking for the "great white hope" in boxing

    Of course that's true.

And if you say it's not, you're lying to yourself.

You either have to be white, or act white, to make it in The States.

The sad part is that they also reference how much money he generates. So we hate him but we buy his PPV's? You can't have it both ways.

The good thing is I think this may finally be the last argument before they just admit that he's a *****.

What you're saying is, white people tend to find black people annoying, when they act, sort of "gangsta".

You need to accept that's just black culture

What racist things has Pacquaio come out with? I remember Floy calling him a 'yellow' chump.

Yes - I mock people when they say ******ed things. It doesn't matter who said it, and their skin colour certainly has no bearing on it. But keep pretending i'm racially motivated without any evidence at all.

It seems that your definiion of racism is just making fun of atupid things Matweather sayz. Grow up kid.

And how can you honestly pull this black card in boxing anymore when the most beloved champions of all time are mostly black? Hearns, Hagler, Leonard, Pryor, Robinson, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Jones, Mosley, Lewis, even Mike Tyson at times, some with mouths open and some closed?

You can be a smart ass and still loved if you are exciting, and Floyd is exciting in about every third fight. The difference between Floyd and the fighters above, except perhaps Jones, are the willingness to truly challenge themselves in strong eras. Even though Lewis may have fought safety first at times, he made it clear who was boss and fought everyone who could even be considered a remote threat. Floyd's belief in himself is actually much lower than anyone who has ever had that level of talent, and in shows in the choices he makes for his career since moving up to 140 and 147.

Toney and Hopkins may seem to be the bad guy sometimes, but their level of opposition is ridiculously challenging.
