Gotta be Tyson..but what a short but explosive fight this would be! Your picks?

Would have loved to see it. However Tyson would have won easily imo.

Closest thing we have to this is Ike vs Tua. Great great fight.

I may be in the minority here, but I think Tua might have won... he caouldn't match Tyson in speed, but Tua has a hell of a chin....much tougher and naturally bigger man than Tyson.

Tua is not great at ad******g to the spotlight.
He is a deer in the headlights, Prime Tyson swarms him before Tua warms up.

Tua only had a left hook though were Tyson had a whole arsenal of punches n combos.

I can see this going either way...

This is one where I can actually see Tyson losing. Tyson is the more 'hurtable' of the two. So we might see a case where they brawl, and while Tyson is leading on the score cards, Tus is doing more damage. Tua also carries his power late, and if we are talking about prime Tua, he also throws LOTS of punches. I can see a scenario where Tyson is tiring down the stretch and he gets caught with a good night left hook.

The other option is the same as the first, only Tyson makes it to round 12 and wins the decision.

This would have been a great fight!
Two human tanks, in their primes.

I have Tyson by TKO following perfect left hook/left uppercut combination.

Tyson fought more harder punches than Tua

Look at Tyson Vs Lennox And Tua vs Lennox

one was old and nearly into retirement and still won a round against Lewis and fought until the end

The other was in his prime and after recieving one right hand from Lennox he hid in his shell for 12

Whats Tua got that Tysons never seen? Tyson takes Tua to school

Tysons defence would be too good for anything tuas got

One got knocked out, and the other went the distance. But Tyson was old, so well take a different example: Tyson was stopped by Evander Holyfield and Buster Douglas. Tua hits harder than they do.

Tyson's defensive style works best with him being the shorter guy, with Tua being a bit shorter, I think they would just square up on each other and just slug it out. Also remember that Prime Tua threw LOTS of punches. He and Ike broke the record for punches thrown in a heavyweight fight.

There's no doubt that Tyson is a greater fighter then Tua, but this is one of those instances where a lesser fighters attributes just might mesh well enough to get a win over an overall better fighter.

tyson murders tua. this is not even a joke debate. it's pathetic to see these kind of threads on a boxing forum.

nearly as bad as the "prime tua stops prime frazier" thread

Tua is the Zab Judah of the HW division! neither guy ever actually beat a great fighter in real life, yet suddenly they are thrown into ridiculous hypothetical matches....even worse are the few???? who actually give them a shot????

My math says if you can't beat a great in reality, you likely can't do it for pretend either!

I am not a tyson fan at all, but this is not fair to him....he is leagues above Tua!!! both resume and H2H!!!!

Tua with by far the better chin stood quite a good chance here against ' the most overrated man on the planet', this one could go either way.
