TO - has caused trouble in almost all the teams he's been on.
Randy Moss - Same thing. Makes comments about $10,000 fines being nothing to him.
PBF - How many tiems have we gone over this guy? I'm not even gonna bother.
Hopkins - Likes to go on the record about how black fighters are superior, and you want to pull the race card **** about him? Shut up.
Barry Bonds - LOL probably one of the biggest bigots in baseball. Oh he's a PROVEN cheat being involved with BALCO.
    Allan Iverson - Practice??! Practice?!?!

These guys are not hated because they're black. They're hated because they act like ****ing ******s.

Michael Jordan is the single most successful black athelete of all time. He is not hated by ANYONE because he doesn't act like a piece of ****, in public anyways.

You don't know what you're talking about you piece of ****. **** off.

Bonds was a *****, he had his own reclining chair in the clubhouse and a separate area all to himself.

Iverson and Hopkins are good guys don't mix them in with those jerks.

Roger Clemens was a ***** and he's since been banished from the sport, Randy Johnson was jerk too, you're dumb as **** kid.

Don't even list off Bay Area athletes you don't know jack **** about the bay area or TO and Bonds.

Some of that is true and some of that is exaggerated. He has pretty much been the smaller guy his whole career. Many people wanted to see him face Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, and Mosley, not to mention Castillo twice and Corrales. His pot shot style is due to the fact that he was fighting at a higher weight then he really needed to be which nobody gives him credit for. Plus he doesn't have big KO power so he has to rely mostly on technique.

Mayweather could have stayed at 140 and opened up more making it seem like he took more risk as Jr WW wouldn't hold as much power as the WWs. And he would be a stronger guy there. Or he could fight at 147 vs guys that could come in the ring 15pds heavier then him but he would have to be more conservative.

Perception is everything, if he stayed at 140 yet opened up more vs smaller guys he would probably be viewed differently.

No dude you're wrong. It's not Mayweather that makes anybody feel bad about their race. It's Butterbean! and only because he never saw a buffet he didn't like!

Seriously, this goon is talking like Clemens and Johnson are adored by the masses. No one likes those guys for the most part.

    This thread sucks.

There's nothing funnier than when a group of people complaining about people relying on prejudice and making generalisations about them go on to make huge generalisations about the very people they are complaining about.

'White people in America don't like black people' - if you cannot see the sheer ******ed ness of that statement then you are beyond help

I guess I can't think of many long term successful white boxers outside the Klits and Calzaghe, but I do know everybody I know was devastated and sad when Jermain Taylor lost to Kelly Pavlik the first time. Taylor was a likeable kid with charisma and he looked on the brink of having a great performance there. I don't follow other sports but I think boxing is immune to the race aspect, as most of the beloved fighters are black, and I think people like Tyson way more than they like the Klits.

People don't like Mayweather because of the fights he takes and his consistent disregard for the desires of the audience in addition to his attitude.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're ****ing clueless ******* who thinks he's better than anyone here. Where is the backlash on Sosa and McQuire who both were on the juice as well? Barry Bonds got the blame for that **** not anyone else?

Randy Moss was the ****ing truth and is one of the best recievers in history, he just told it like it was. Looks like the Pats looked pretty good letting him go right? They sure as hell could have used a deep threat to stretch the defense againt the Jets in the playoffs.:deal:hi:

All these guys on this list produced on a high level and all of which were hated by White America at one point.

Michael Jordan was a robot who never took a stance on any issue effecting the black community. He was as corporate as hell and is exactly the type of black athlete white america loves.

LOL Someone had to pull the race card.

When the obvious defense is not available, pull the race card.

It is easier to actually be responsible of your own actions.

First and foremost, alot of people did hate Mike especailly when he was young and coming into the league...what happened you may ask, he completely changed his image that's what happened. No more chains, no more of the stupid crazy dunks and taunting, no more of the brash confidence, he changed who he was and in turn was accepted by white America...along with being the cash cow for many. For the first 7 or 8 years Mike "wasn't **** compared to Larry Bird", and the Bulls can't win with Mike, he's a ballhog, he's a show off, etc etc. It wasn't until his image changed that he was able to be accepted and embraced by America.
