I agree. I have said before the only reason most people hate floyd is because he talks trash, hasn't lost, and he is great at what he does. People love to say o he doesn't fight the best, that is only a fraction of why you hate him. You don't generalize floyd's whole family if you don't hate him. If floyd was a shane mosley nobody should say ****. Muhammad ali talked ****, fought the best, and people still hated him. If/when he fights Pac the hate will still continue. He is going to beat Pac. When that happens he will still be hated. Even though I usually don't agree on some of the things floyd says, I believe he is right when he says people are trying to make a fighter to beat him. When Pac beat De La Hoya the first thing people where saying is, "Can Manny beat Floyd?". I always wondered how Manny is now considered an all time great after floyd retired? His best wins were before he was at welter. You can't find one atg list that Pac was on while floyd was boxing. Floyd retires for a year and a half and Manny is a top 20 atg? When he wasn't even considered one pryor? Like I said manny is a great fighter but he is media hyped. If/when floyd beats manny he will be hated still and their will be another fighter that comes around who can beat floyd.

I dont hate Floyd, I'm one of his biggest fans as a fighter, but outside of the ring he just frustrates me, over the past few years especially. I've got nothing against people being arrogant/confident/proclaiming they are the best if they consistently back it up, but what I do have a problem with is someone constantly talking about how they are the best but being so inactive, pointlessly retiring from the sport for 18 months whilst two big challenges in his weight division remain (Cotto, Margarito) and then getting into trouble outside of the ring, therefore holding up one of the biggest fights of the last 20 years (Pacquiao). What makes it even more annoying is that I genuinely think Floyd had/has the talent to beat all of these guys at their best, to really prove beyond all doubt who the man is, but instead he takes ages off at a time and hangs about with 50 cent and talks about how much money he has. How could any fan of boxing not find that annoying??
