i think its Montiel who wears the mexican flag Cleto Reyes. best glove on the market http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...ahQfj8NDCDQ&page=1&ndsp=32&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0
I think so. Most of Frank Maloney's fighters wear them. Ian Napa wears them. This content is protected
Couple others that have started to be used more and more. This content is protected This content is protected
Mismatch will have done a deal with BBE probably to pocket a few quid. He must be loaded, shelling out all of 7p for the undercard opponents and having his fighters wear someone's gloves. You've only got to see Booth's face when he discovers that he can wear what he wants against Molitor.....

Rivals are mainly used in Canada, aren't they? Seem like a decent pair, Lemieux and Pascal both wear 'em. I'm pretty sure Warren is involved with Queensbury. You only really see 'em on his shows.
It's strange how each sport has different items of equipment that vary so much from supplier to supplier. When I was playing rugby I could only use those cheap mouldable gum shields that you dip in your cuppa and shape, think they're about £3, whereas lots of players got theirs from the dentist at £30+. Likewise there's a big difference between a Gilbert ball and a Mitre, or a Steeden which they tend to use now. About ten years ago there was an 8 piece ball rather than 4 piece, it weighed a ton but it was brilliant for kicking.... could put it on a 50p piece on even the most windy day. I'm not sure how anyone can use the BBE's, I've got fairly small hands so ought to be able to make a decent fist with them, but can't get anywhere near.
Yeah both use them and they seem nice glove for fighter but also to watch fights. You can see shot's land and appreciate the work unlike with BBE's where looks like guys a slapping with pillows on. Your right i noticed Queensbury on his show's and on Canvas.
Couldn't say it better really... Reyes are the best to watch from an aesthetic viewpoint. They just look compact, it somehow makes things seem faster and sound better. Even though thats probably just mind tricks.
Yeah always enjoyed watching bouts with Reyes. I dunno maybe your right it is mind tricks...they do seem so much quicker and look like there affecting opponent to other gloves. Tony Bellew gave me good reply once in a thread about why he uses Grants and what Reyes are like. He said Reyes don't protect hands and less padding or something along those lines.
Yeah I think thats pretty much the widely held opinion. Well, its just kind of obvious only looking at them. They look hard and less padded, the padding must be spread more for the same weight. Grant's aren't too nice to watch either IMO. Everlast are fine, they look somewhere in the middle.
