What about Bruno, Tucker, Stewart, Savarese, Golota, Seldon?

Bonecrusher was very much a puncher, he had a tonne of raw power, watch him obliterate Witherspoon.

True, i was trying to compare him to the punchers Ali, Holyfield and Lewis fought. They fought much more

I cant help but laugh whenever the name SELDON pops up...:D

    Bowe didnt fight many punchers

During title defenses? Johnson, or Marciano. Tunney, but he did not have many title defenses.

Whilst I would not put Johnson in the top echelon for facing bangers, I don't see how he would qualify as having fought the least.

Marciano immediately comes to mind. He did npt fight one outside of an ancient Jersey Joe who while he could hit was not a huge KO puncher by style or record ... Moore was a banger at light heavy .. Louis , forget it ...

Sullivan and Ingo are the others ...

Assuming we are talking about lineal / Ring Magazine champions during their entire career, I would say Tunney, but he wasn't a heavyweight for long.

I agree Rocky is up there. While Moore and Walcott could hit a bit, they were not big time punchers at heavyweight.

Hey, if people are going to list guys like Sonny Banks, Henry Cooper etc as punchers, then Seldon is certainly one!

I don't think that any dominant champion is in the argument here.

I also think that technicians are being discriminated against. For example is Bruno realy a better puncher than Walcott?

  13. cooper was clearly 1 puncher m8 get 1 fact straight .:patsch

In P4P terms i agree, but as a 185lb fighter he was no Marciano...

  15. ye , it is 1 different kind of power .
Marciano 1 attrition fighter most of times .
and , rly ,cooper had 1 left hook , marciano primarily ,
    1 right handed puncher
    Cooper was 1 lefthooking technician , w/ 1shot power .
marciano did wear down his sweaty man .
