I wonder who are the biggest threat out there, maybe biggest as in 168 lbers? Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, & Margarito would give everybody hell at the time Pac fought them. No fighter at 135 - 140 lbs would have dare to fight those guys even at 145 lbs. Do you think guys like bradley could tko Cotto like what Pac did at that time? Pacquiao just make it look easy because he's a great fighter, if others fought those guys it would be a lot different and won't be as easy as what you think.

Wait so we excuse Pac since nobody around his weight can beat him in your opinion?

Who does Emanual say are the biggest threats. The guys he has fought have been good fighters, the only argument I have is that this weight agreement thing has gone on too long. Once he won a belt he should have fought at the weight limit for that belt. Otherwise he is getting an unfair advantage. I think his opponents are good, whether his opponents are a little weakened from losing weight is another issue. He is good enough to beat them anyway, but Manny has to start fighting guy at the weight limit of the belt he is fighting for. Otherwise it looks like he is doing a Ray Leonard thing and chasing belts like the Donny Lalonde thing, or fighting Hearns in the rematch at 164 pounds for a 168 pound title. Ray is the one who started that weight agreement stuff.

Well I do admit Hatton was a cherrypick for Pacman. If Pacman fights Marquez that is a cherrypick also. He can easily beat Marquez now. Marquez is overrated.. He was beaten easily by Floyd. And Chris John which Marquez never wanted to rematch.

Manny Steward saying this is odd considering his fighter Cotto lost to Margarito, and the last guy Cotto fought was Mayorga, who should not have been fighting for a title now. Manny has fought decent guys.

Not sure what that means. Irregardless, what they say isn't gospel.

He had just lost to Floyd who was not a huge puncher, so you knew his confidence about taking a punch would not be the same anymore. A guy like Ricky Hatton is a tough guy. A great guy when he is winning and taking punches, but when Floyd beat him his career was over as far as being effective. Then Pacman fights him, and Pacman is quick and stops him. I was not too surprised when Pacman stopped him. I hoped for a long fight, but Pacman did everything better than Ricky.
