Rigo got booed out of the building. Im sure he meant the atmosphere was not welcoming i.e. Intimidating rather than Irish people in general not being welcoming.

Guys tickets for the tickets for Official VIP 'Dudey Army' Afterparty go on sale on Friday.

The McCloskey are going to be selling them from their shop as well and they go on release at 7pm that day so expect a que outside their shop.

I wouldnt be surprised if they sell out from their shop alone.

Tickets are limited but if you want to reserve tickets email me before Friday with the number of tickets you want at

well just watched the sky plus for last saturdays rte broadcast. Why spend well over an hour on a 2min 30 sec fight and only show a couple rounds of Fitz and maybe I missed it when fast forwarding but I didnt see any Sweeney vs Tims which was fight of the night. Not even a round up of all undercard results at the end. Christ that would have only taken 30 seconds. Anyway after watching the 2 rounds they showed of Fitz I had Fitz winning both. Pretty sure i had Afif winning the second on the night so maybe Fitz did win all 4 completed rounds. I nearly always score fights different when I watch em back on telly

I'm only after seeing the Fitz/Belghecham stoppage.

Wow. Absolutely atrocious. The referee is an absolute clown NONE of those punches landed and I sympathise with Belghecham. In the heat of the moment many others would have ended up punching the ref as well. Martin Sludden all over again!

    Afif isnt happy either

But i think Fitz looked better than ever and was on course to win. It all well and good saying Bel comes on strong, but you can't go five rounds without hardly throwing a punch!

Fitzgerald is gash (let's be ****ing honest about it) and he never stops Belgecham in a million years legitimately.

Dress it up any way anyone wants. He couldn't stop Long or Townley who have about 4 wins in 8 fights combined. Maybe he was ahead on the cards maybe he wasn't. Maybe he'd have held of for a points win or maybe he'd have got knocked out.

All I can tell you for sure is that if he ever does step up he's going to get ****ed up big time.

I gave Affif rounds 2 and 3. I don't think Fitzy would have beaten him over 12 but who knows. Affif comes on strong in the later stages.

Long was only 4-1 and was out of the ring 10 months when he last fought Fitzy and the majority of people felt long won that one. The stoppage over Belgecham was a disgrace and if you look at the punches landed in the 5th while Fitzy threw lots the better quality punches were landed by Belgecham imo and a rematch should happen

He did against Barker and many people thought he came on and got a draw, if not won. We also say the trouble he gave Andy Lee in the last round of their fight.

Its naive to paint it as anything other than an embarrassing premature stoppage.

Joe Rea or Ciaran Healy next please and clean up the domestic division.
