:roflatsch Not another Popkins/DINAMITA/Arcane/El Cepillo alt. How many accounts do you have you twerp? :-(
Welcome to the Wonderful World of boxing, son.:good Hang in there and one day, you too will understand and come to love this sport. Question: Who was the favorite in the Toney-Jirov fight?:smoke
YO MOD: Stop being so SENSITIVE, about things you do not understand. For your reading pleasure and comfort; Slappy White (born Melvin White, September 20, 1921, Baltimore, MD, died November 7, 1995, Brigantine, NJ) was an American comedian and actor. He worked with Redd Foxx on the Chitlin' circuit of stand-up comedy during the 1950s and 1960s. He appeared on the television shows Sanford and Son, That's My Mama, Blossom, and Cybill and in the films Mr. Saturday Night and Amazon Women on the Moon. Calzaghe is some what of a comedian also; Hence the borrowing of Melvin's nick which also perfectly describes Calzaghe's fighting (sic) style.
Totally dismantled your points leaving you with this quote as an answer, lame atsch Once again Utter_cunt you have shown complete stupidity as the thread starter said for the fight at SMW or LHW . Jirov made his weak name at CW, so would be weight drained if fighting Calzaghe at SMW atsch. What a complete ***** you are , didnt even read the first page Couldnt have said it better, but would also add that Utter_cunt is a dirty stalker atsch Quote of the year. Can only guess how long it took Robert to write this one Everyone from M Nunn to Holyfield, losing to M Griffin and D Thadzi on the way Who are all these fighters :huh. Holyfield was way past his best when Toney got to him and lets not forget the PEDs scandal. Still please lets have Toneys list of fighters from Nunn to Holyfield that he beat, you can use my list to compare :smooch
Dont know who was the favourite, but know one is supposed to be an American legend and the other not. Do know that one was banned at one stage for PEDs use. Do know that one of them, people cant quote the 5 best wins of, and the other, well you can go on Boxrec and see how foolish it sounds to over praise the other :yep
I bet the punch stats would look something like this: CALZAGHE Punches Thrown 4,312 Power Punches Thrown 4 Punches Landed 16 Power Punches Landed 0 JIROV Punches Thrown 3,648 Power Punches Thrown 200 Punches Landed 9 Power Punches Landed 30
Jirov would be too big and strong for Calzaghe. Joe is basically a swarmer, he is not going to outslug bigger stronger guys.
The thread starter said the fight would be at SMW or LHW atsch Just look at the form line, its on Boxrec . Now what were Jirovs 5 best wins. Go on Boxrec and have a look :nut Not at SMW or LHW and Toney was a former MW and terrible SMW Not CW but SMW or LHW. Easy win for Calzaghe at LHW or SMW, Easy
If it's so easy then why hasn't Slappy done it? Oh right, so he could fight Woodard or some other bum instead. Jirov would have beaten the poodle **** out of Slappy even at LHW. :yep
I don't think that is really a validation of Calzaghe's superiority over Jirov, he would very likely be dead at SMW or LHW. Catchweight i see Joe getting stopped, probably at LH too if he could get the cut and rehydration right.
The thread says a SMW or LHW not CW, so with that in mind I pick Calzaghe to win easily. Are you backpedalling now?
