hes doing some thing right cos he keeps winning plus hes another irishman with a title so ithink we should get behind him instead of run him down

 

If it wasn't for his attitude it would be easier to get behind him - since he called out Lee and began publicly stating he was world level I find it incredibly difficult to support him.... I was actually hoping for a Belgechem KO on saturday!

For me he'll remain Anto "couldn't fight in a fit" Fitzgerald for a long while yet

 

I thought it was a good fight, took a few rounds to get going but Timsy did great work on the inside and Sweeney was probably throwing cleaner shots, trying to rob rounds in the last 30 secs. Dunno how you could be falling asleep through it. Sweeney needs to get in shape and down to 168. Hes killing his career otherwise

 

I tought Edwards and Bayaar were having a rematch, since Bayaar lost on cuts in the Kings Hall? Are they having a rematch and then the winner of that will fight the winner of Conlan-Power?

 

Was watching it with a spanish speaking friend too,and he also mentioned during the interview that the fight was quite easy,which the trainer left out.

For the record, while I'm a fan of Irish boxing in general, I'm under no obligation to be a fan of every single Irish boxer. As Daithi says he's a hard man to like or get behind. I'm all for self promotion but the stuff he comes out with is ludicrous rubbish.

He keeps winning (along with the 2 losses he has) because he hasn't fought anyone. Belgecham was his first step up to Euro level and the fight ended in shambolic manner. If he wants to be taken seriously he needs to rematch him straight away. Don't forget Belgecham is just the first step up because he is very much an 'opponent' in the grand scheme of things

It is def not willies wife,I have met her she is a very nice lady that IMO would never show disrespect to any fighter ,it may be a sister or cousin but is not his wife.
