Why? Because all you haters are going to finally realize how good these guys were, and now, how boring the hw division is really gonna be. Btw if they ever fought each other vitali would kick little bros ass imo. Recognize people, vitali is a bad man!!!!

I personally can't wait until they retire. I'd rather watch paint dry.

They are the only good HWs period. Would have givin anyone problems but they don't have anyone to fight. That's just how it is. I can't say how good they are because of how bad everyone else is. HW is a joke.

ESB will be a much better place without the Klits.

To be honest, the HW division will have better match ups without them and its exactly why I want them to retire. Think about it, I'd rather see guys like Solis vs Arreola vs Adamek vs Povetkin and the list goes on and on INSTEAD of those oversized super heavyweight Klit brothers vs them.

Much better match ups could be made if these other HW guys would focus on fighting each other instead of focusing on trying to cash out against the Klits.

The reason why the HW division is uneventful is because of the Klits dominance of B level fighters. But as we all know, some of the best fights ever are between B/B+ level fighters.

They wouldn't be so boring if they actually had some game opponents. The fat bums America churns out these days mean this has been a shite era, that's no fault of the Klitschkos.

Sad day? I don't think so

The two most boring to watch and most boring to listen to heavyweight champions of all time will soon retire, thank God!

At least the heavyweight division will be more interesting to talk about

Neither had any personality, no great attacking flair, or contributed anything to the sport outside of the ring

Ali, Lewis, Tyson, they had a life outside of the ring. Giving back to charities, opening gyms or getting into trouble to keep people all the time which made him one of the most talked about people on the plant. When they were in the ring they meaned business and were great to watch

If the Klitchko brothers were fighting in my back yard, I'd close the curtains.

The skill level between guys like Adamek/Haye/Povetkin is on the SAME exact level if not higher than that of the Klits. The only ****ing reason the Klits are dominant is because of their massive size. They tower over opponents and are extremely powerful. Doesn't mean they are all that special technically. They just have good fundamentals and really really really significant ADVANTAGES.

A good big man will beat a great small man.

It takes legendary small men to beat great big men

People think because these guys retire the HW division is ****?

No, then you get competitiveness, and fighters who will actually do just that. I have no issue with the Klitschko's, I think it's a weak time and I admire their abilities but I don't find them exciting. They keep a fighter on the edge of their jab for a number of rounds before taking them out in extremely unexciting fashion. You get the feeling they never come out of second gear anymore. I think they would make or break in more competitive bouts, but I don't think if they retire the heavyweight division dies. You just don't have a stranglehold then, because whichever way you look at it, both Klitschko's dominate the HW division and that's two men in a division with what, five belts?

Mijares was a supernatural monster for a small period of his career lol. You are validated in your desires. So go ahead, spam the board with Mijares threads.

    :lol::good

I dont think I'd get any views though, never mind replies. Mijares is one of those unfortunate people who fought below featherweight, so is therefore unknown on ESB.
