He would not have misstepped and broke his leg had he not been hit.

People don't misstep and break their legs for no reason.

And as I and another poster have already pointed out in so many words, what the ridiculously corrupt WBC says has no bearing what-so-ever on anything.

i didnt see anyone quit. i saw solis beat the count and then i saw the referee call it off.

 

vitklit quit like a ***** vs byrd and then had the nerves to make a speech about it.

 

I've watched it again and again, Solis was unhinged bv the punch. His left knee doesn't straighten up until it lands and then he goes into a robot dance. You can see how his hands move after it connects that he's reacting to the punch and not the knee, then he's all over the place of course. TKO1.

the ref was looking in his eyes.... the punch hurt him.... the knee was secondary. Just like when a boxer gets KD...gets up and the ref looks him over and waves it off.....

look at Wlad Brock..... now I know the was a huge KD... but brock got up... ref looked at him waved it off.... same here

does it matter?... even if the ref didnt wave it off... he would have quit on the stool at the start of the 2nd... still would be a TKO

Definitely. He even said in the ring himself that the knee went as he went down. The key phrase is 'as he went down'. You watch it and freeze it at the exact point of contact, his knee hasn't straightened up. He did the knee because he was disorientated after taking the temple shot and put all his weight onto one leg, the same knee he'd strained upon impact, in reaction to being concussed. All his problems originated from that punch 100%. No other verdict.

 

that ridiculous to thin he was concussed from that punch. in boxing terms it was a KD but it made him lose balance and people **** up knees all the time from a step wrong etc etc
