Trust me, I have no doubt 'events' will soon take centre stage in boxing. To quote the great Richie Woodhall, "believe you me"

henry armstrong has some solid event wins. he won the event in the second garcia fight for the middleweight title, and went the distance with robinson when he was past prime, thus winning the event.

    It's really sad. A shame.

Since the other thread vanished, I wanted to clarify that I believe there needs to be a certain ruling with regards to a fighter having to overcome a notoriously impartial ref. We do the same with judges, but there are instances where ref pick up fighters and then begin the count. A real travesty. :patsch

The idea for me really stems from the believe that EVT wins are here to tell the true story of what's going on beyond the fight. That means any controversy or any bias against any fighter should be noted so that we can do our best to find the truest and most fair outcome to any events.

I'd also like clarity on when quitting is an EVT win or lose. I think this needs some clarification as I've heard instances of where both. And specifically review Duran-Leonard II to see who really won the EVT, if anyone even did. I had others, but can't recall them but I'll be sure to post them when I remember.

What an event that was on Prizefighter. Reed got Ottke'd3 by Ainscough in a belter.

Why? You'd only end up going in there telling everyone that you don't like the threads

Mate, i've read your posts before - you have absolutely no grounds to be giving it the 'i'm more intelligent than you' act.

You don't find the joke funny - don't post in the thread. I'm sure there's plenty of intellectual debate to be had in the Mayweather - Pacquaio threads . . .

Lance you should go post in "There is absolutely no doubt in my mind Lewis would have gottem KO'd in the 7th", that might be more to your taste.

Hate to tell you, but in this case, I probably am. The REASON I said there should be a kiddie forum is so the likes of you and those other idiots can have your own place to discuss important thins like EVENTS and CHINS...
