Forget Money vs Pac.. these are the matchups boxing should want...

A great super middleweight battle between Mikkel Kessler and the unproven Lucian Bute.... Bute needs a step up in competition and this would be a great fight before the S6 winner, especialy since I have a feeling the winner won't be available til next year.. the finals will probably take place in November or something... Bute can prove his medal by fighting Kessler as long as Kessler can come back from that eye injury.. and I think Kessler would sitll be a great win for Bute.. there would be no excuses on Kessler's part

Another great fight is Martinez vs. Sturm.. This is obvious... Martinez can't get none of the WW's.. and shouldn't be.. He shouldn't be fighting anymore JMW's.. and doesn't need to face a SMW yet... face Sturm!... That should lead to the PPV he wants in fall/winter.. I have no problem with him taking on a Cotto or someone.. but first fight a champ in your division.

The last matchup is Abraham vs Kirkland at MW.. I think Abraham will lose to Ward but if he drops down to MW.. taking on Kirkland WILL BE the most exciting/ short fight this year... winenr could get killed by Martinez but first, those two should fight. Forget Canelo.. Kirkland would kill him IMHO.. take on Abraham in an exciting MW fight.... I really don't care to see Mayweather Pacman at this point.. I hope May retires....THOUGHTS??

Generally speaking this is the stance all boxing fans should adopt. This sport is bigger than any of its participants, there will always be the next one...

I'd be interested in all of these fights, hopefully they can be made. I think Kessler should get a tune up before Bute but I do hope that fight happens. Bute needs to prove himself. I'd like to see Kessler stop him.

Anytime Martinez fights I'm interested. Strum would be a good win cause he would own the division then, apart from Pirog, but he's still green and needs a few more fights till he's ready for Martinez. I don't wanna see Cotto fight him cause I like Cotto and I think Martinez would rip him apart.

Abraham/Kirkland would be great! I think the Abraham bubble has bust, at least at 168, he needs to fight at 160. As long as Kirkland hasn't lost a step, I say he batters Abraham.

Kirkland's plan is to set up shop at 154. I can see him fighting Martinez in a big money fight at 160 next year but doubt he will fight anyone but Sergio there.

Kirkland is jumping right back in, in beast mode too. I was worried cause of his stint while he was locked up the inactivity would hinder him, but he seems to be doing alright, :bbb

Before Felix Sturm agrees to fight Sergio Martinez, Floyd and Manny will have had three bouts in a frozen hell with flying pigs spectating.

I'll still hope for Floyd vs. Manny, but those do all look like great match-ups.

    Kessler Bute!

I want to see Kessler Froch 2. It should be an annual event.

Those are good match ups, but they are not much compared to Pac Floyd.

While those are important matchups, the Mayweather -Pacman fight is much more meaningful.
