...another waste of talent in the wind. He could be at the top of the light HW division but he is nowhere to be found. He may not fight Diaconnu in May according to Steve Kim. When I read that I just realized that he was still supposed to be an active fighter. His last fight was in August though so I should say semi-active. I guess he does not want to fight anymore or he is having promotional problems of wahtever he is. Then I remembered his last fight was a loss and that it was a fight he could have won if he had shown more passion. That's what he was/is lacking and that's why nobody actually gives a **** where he is. I wish him a good retirement!!

I know he has a lot of issues with his team. Apparently he's getting badly ripped off, so you can't blame him for losing for of his passion. It's a shame, really.

He will be back hes too good. And btw, he would have KO'ed the **** out of 'front runner' pascal if it wasnt for the headbutt. Anyways, hell get his rematch and lay him the **** out. Bernard might lay him out first though. Bad Chad will be back. And I havent given up on him (unlike most of you ****s who throw a fighter in the trash after one loss).

He's supremely talented, but so much more is required for long term boxing success than just talent. Some say he should've never lost to Pascal, but Jean' mental toughness and athletic abilities made up to his skill deficit and Dawson doesn't seem to handle his first pro loss very well. He's a good kid but maybe HBO's Bertoesque $$$ backing got to him and to his team, and his comeback is getting troublesome. Never was too fond of his fights, but I kinda want to see him in the ring again, I don't like to see a talent wasting his best years.

I hope he comes back strong. I really really really like his combinations and body work.

He lacks the mental toughness to be a reigning champ. He also lacks the focus & adaptability to turn around fights that aren't going his way. Not to discredit Pascal but Dawson basically gave him the title. He showed no "You're not taking my "0" without a fight!" kind of mentality at all. Instead he stalked him like an idiot while barely doing much. He needs to face a pressure fighter like Cloud or Andrade to test his will and prove doubters wrong but until then he needs to be active more. He's 29, that speed and those reflexes will go soon so he needs to take advantage of his youth but also polish himself more as a fighter because has work to do.

I never understood this, after loss to pascall he should of been out 3 months later blasting out a can and then going straight after a belt holder

    Glass heart :yep

Too bad he had talent, when he actually punched Pascal lots in the late rounds, Pascal could do absolutely nothing, and I thought he was seconds from being down, then the butt happened while Dawson was behind the cards.

Dawson is too damn talented and too good to fade into obscurity.... Pascal was a bump in the road. He's now with Emmanuel Steward so he'll turn his career around. I still think he's the future of the LHW division and he can always drop down to 168 to fight Bute or the winner of the super 6 to make a decent pay check. I'm not even a big fan of his personally, but to say Dawson is done as a top tier fighter is a bit silly at this point.
