Blood testing or not, the main issue is (lack of) willingness to even negotiate

Hey I'm a fan of his too, well of his style at least.

I'm not a fan of bull**** though.

Unless he has some super secret SRL mind**** agenda, I think it's 50/50 now if Floyd is that hesitant.

If Floyd dropped his bull**** facade of wanting to 'clean up the sport', the fight would have happened already.

It doesn't work that way. What Arum/Konc say is pretty much all that matters in terms of negotiations. What does Pac always say when they talk about opponents and things like that? He says it's up to my promoter.

I think Pac is willing to fight Mayweather; and Mayweather is willing to fight Pac.

    There are 2 problems:
    1. Arum doesn't want the fight to happen yet. He's had Pac's next opponents picked out long before, and just pretended he was trying to get a Mayweather deal. Its business, he's cashing out as much as possible before Pac retires.
    2. Mayweather chose Golden Boy to negotiate for him, who has a very bad relationship with Top Rank. Bob Arum has done everything in his power to not work with Golden Boy and this Donaire situation is going to make it even worst.

Now that Mayweather seems to be working with King, I think (hope) we may see different results. When two promoters are willing to work together (which these 2 are), then there's practically nothing that can stop the fight from being made.

Arum said Floyd asked for 100m dollars. What do you have to say about that?

You said it - "ARUM SAID". I don't believe anything that snake says. I know the contract I saw from King to Floyd was 100 Milliion Dollars for a 4 fight deal. I would think its related to that deal and being taken out of context.

Right now they are just touching negotiations - there won't be any contracts/agreements yet because Pac has to get past Mosley first (I know its expected, but anything can happen). You better believe they will wait to see what the turn out for this is before any serious negotiations take place.

Roger Mayweather threw out the same figure. Hardly coincidence.

    Science supports Pac's statements!

    1. How do periodic reductions in hemoglobin affect an athlete's ability to train?

    From:
    This content is protected

Blood is a complicated tissue with many different roles. When you donate blood, you give up a pint of fluid containing mostly water along with various proteins and cells in solution. During high-intensity endurance activities however, it is hemoglobin, found within our red blood cells, that is most important.

Hemoglobin delivers oxygen to our tissues, and when we exercise our muscles require increased amounts of oxygen. If we lack sufficient hemoglobin, anaerobic, or without oxygen, metabolism will ensue (producing lactic acid) at even seemingly moderate levels of intensity.

, (which is why you may not donate more often than every two months). What then are the lasting effects of this red blood cell loss?

Assuming that your cardiac output (the amount of blood pumped by the heart) remains constant, a drop in hemoglobin concentration associated with donating blood will reduce your oxygen delivery to working muscles by 10 percent. Still, when you are at rest, or even during moderate levels of exercise, oxygen delivery, even at this decreased capacity, far outpaces demand.

However, once you reach a heart rate that is around 5 to 10 percent below your usual anaerobic threshold, your body's demand for oxygen will outpace its supply. For example, if your metabolism typically becomes anaerobic at a heart rate of 170, then after donating blood you will become anaerobic at a heart rate of between 157 and 164 beats per minute. This value will fluctuate because your hemoglobin level will be rising slowly each day, thus the most significant effect will be felt in the first few days after donating.

    2. Donating Blood - What Active People Need to Know

He notes that many variables make it difficult to predict how much or how long donating a pint of blood will affect athletic performance. However, he notes that recovery after blood donation is fairly fast. Eichner writes: "In my anecdotal experience,

You donate a pint of blood, you won't be 100% until 4 weeks.

You get tested drug tested 5 times and lose 100 cc of blood, you won't feel 100% for 7 total days while training.

Very compromising for boxers expected to give it their all in a world title fight AND who stand to lose even more blood during a fight.

    After Arum said it.

The negotiations will be between King/Arum. I wouldn't listen to anybody else (Roger/Koncz/Daddy Mayweather).

If King/Arum can't make a deal, then the fight is definitely never happening.

Its sort of the issue....we all know that all this steroid ****, and blood testing and cleaning up the sport bull**** is just an excuse by Floyd to avoid having to go through with this fight. Thats plain as day and everyone MUST be able to see that. Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Shane, they ALL just got on with it and fought Pacquiao, but the so called best in the world MONEY MAYWEATHER cant do that?? Its a ****ing joke and im embaressed for him to be honest. Come on Floyd take the ****ing fight like everyone else and if your the best then you'l win. He has NO excuse for not taking this mega fight.

HOWEVER...equally embaressing is Pacquiaos complete willingness to provide Floyd the excuse he needs to get out of this.

If the fight ever happens it wont be as good now because the pair of them will be too ****ing old and everyone will have stopped giving a ****.

But im a floyd fan as iv said...but you cant help believe that its Floyd more than Pac who doesnt want this fight

Read the whole thread, especially the end. Good advice for school as well. Shortcuts in school lead to shortcuts in life.

Caneman continues to bring out that article where the ammount of blood extracted from those athletes is significant compared to what they will take from Pacquiao if he went through the random testing.

......but like a true *******, Caneman gets schooled on the matter and just comes back again with the same recycled link thats already been shot down numerous times.
